As part of our project focused on depolarization in Euro-Mediterranean communities, the Tunisian team recently produced a powerful documentary examining the issue of polarization in the city of Gabes, Tunisia, which resulted from the pollution caused by a chemical group based in the city.
Through interviews with local residents and experts, the documentary explores the impact of the pollution on the community and the ways in which it has led to polarization among different groups. The documentary also highlights the efforts of local activists and organizations to promote dialogue and find solutions to this pressing issue.
The documentary is a testament to the power of storytelling to raise awareness about important social and environmental issues, and to promote understanding and dialogue among different groups. By shedding light on the issue of pollution and its impact on communities, the documentary helps to promote a sense of shared responsibility and encourage collective action to find solutions to this and other pressing issues.
